WordPress 3.1.1 has been released. This is a release which addresses a number of security related items:
- Security hardening to media uploads
- Performance improvements
- Fixes for IIS6 support, taxonomy and PATHINFO (/index.php/) permalinks, various query and taxonomy edge cases that caused some plugin compatibility issues
