I need to transfer my domain name to your service. What are your DNS (Name) Servers?

Our DNS Servers are: ns1.dazil.com, and ns2.dazil.com, respectively.

How do I setup Microsoft Outlook for use with my own (myname@mydomain.com) e-mail account?

This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2003, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook:

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
  2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select “Add a new e-mail account” and click Next.
  3. For your server type, select “POP3″ and click Next.
  4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
    • Your Name - Enter your first and last name.
    • E-mail Address - Enter your e-mail address.
    • User Name - Enter your e-mail address, again.
    • Password - Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account.
    • Incoming mail server (POP3) - Enter mail.dazil.com for your incoming mail server.
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - Enter your ISP’s SMTP server (eg. shawmail for Shaw users, smtp.telus.net for Telus users). If you are unsure about this, type mail.dazil.com.
  5. Click Finish.

How do I setup Microsoft Outlook Express for use with my own (myname@mydomain.com) e-mail account?

To accomplish this:

  1. Go to “Tools” then select “Accounts”
  2. To add a new email account to Outlook click on “Add”
  3. Click on “Mail” and the Internet Connection Wizard window will pop up
  4. Put your real name in the box where it says “Display Name” and click “Next”
  5. Then type in your email address (ie. yourname@yourdomain.com) and click “Next”
  6. Under the Email Server Names window select POP3.
  7. In the Incoming Mail (POP Server), type mail.dazil.com.
  8. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP Server), type your ISP’s SMTP server (eg. shawmail for Shaw@home users). If you are unsure about this, type mail.dazil.com.
  9. Click “Next” and in the “Internet Mail Login” window type in your login/username (ie. yourdomain_yourname) and your password
  10. Under the “Friendly Name” window type a name for the account — something that makes sense to you. Then click “Next”
  11. Under the “Connection Type” window choose “Modem” or the appropriate dial-up connection. Click “Next”
  12. You will get the Congratulations window that you have completed the configuration.

What are the names of your incoming and outgoing mail servers?

For incoming (POP and IMAP) e-mail, our server is mail.dazil.com. For outgoing e-mail, you should use your ISP’s SMTP server (shawmail for Shaw users, smtp.telus.net for Telus users). If you don’t know your ISP’s e-mail server, contact us.

I would like a new @mydomain.com e-mail address or alias configured. How can I do this?
